bluetooth on laptop

i can sync mmy berry n my laptop and do some DM stuff.

you can do tether to use BB as modem but thats about everything there is. you still cant use bluetooth to transfer files onto media card which is kind of dissapointing.

You may be able to bluetooth files using Media Manager. I've never tried. Bluetooth connection is neat but doesn't do much for me as it's so much slower than usb.

i did bluetooth with BBDM, the media manager is all grayed out, not even an option. the only reason i used bluetooth over usb is cuz i dont want to damage the usb port. i had an 8800 with usb port broken, it sucks bad... eh

The 8300 USB port is built better than the 8800 port. Just be careful when using, that's what I do. I also got a charging stand that doesn't use the usb just for charging.

i figured as much, i never really found anyting interesting with bluetooth. although i looked at that super bluetooth hack program. i could never install it tho

Bluetooth for running the phone through my car stereo- WAY cool. Hands free phone use while driving, cuts the music off while I'm talking, cuts the music back on when I hang up. Top tier application.

Bluetooth for the laptop, not so much. And I personally can't stand using a BT earpiece.

I just got a new laptop, and BT USB.
I have a curve, so far I did not install anything. What is the best thing to install? Should I just install desktop manager from the CD that came with curve, or download another version for Vista from somewhere else?

I would like to be able to sync via bluetooth whenever I click on Sync, so after I update some address, etc. I can just sync.
