Thumbs up BIS 2.5 is Here

Ecuador reporting here, since yesterday BIS 2.5 working perfectly on my BB 8100 running OS 4.5.0.46. Just uninstall BB email smart viewer. Native HTML email working perfectly, able to download attachments and save them to memory card. GOOD JOB RIM!!!!

Ahhh... HTML email goodness. 2.5 BIS is working great here in the SF Bay Area. Now we need the final release of 4.5 for AT&T

Should this enable HTML in emails I already have, or just on new incoming ones?

I am using cellcom and their support isnt great - anyone know whetehr they are up to BIS 2.5

regarding jsanders post of finding out what version of BIS I am running by checking options> about - 3rd line beginning with word version


ON my b-berry I dont have any listing under version

I do have something in parentheses

( Platform 2.7.0.55)

which appears rights after v4.5.0.37 ( describing the OS )

Anyone know is this the BIS version

You've asked this question already, and it was answered in another thread.
No, the Platform version is not the BIS version.

BIS is a service from RIM... it's not something that gets installed on your device.
You can't tell what version of BIS your carrier has.
