I am trying to install OPERA MINI on my Verizon Pearl. I have heard you need to change your "browser configuration" to BLACKBERRY from INTERNET BROWSER.

How do I do this? Is it Absolutely Neces. for OPERA?

THANKS FOR ANY HELP!

As mentioned, you have to set your BlackBerry's browser emulation to "BlackBerry." If you don't do that first, you might not get the download link for Opera Mini. If you've already downloaded and installed Opera Mini, forget about it.

You're looking under Options from within the browser, right? The first entry, Browser, is set to Internet Browser. Scroll down to Emulation Mode: and select BlackBerry in there.
