I have an .avi file that I would like to see on my BB 8130. After I used the Roxio Media Manager to copy the file to my BB (with on-the-fly conversion) I cannot see the file in the list of videos. The list says there aren't any videos on the 2GB MicroSD card. However, Roxio Media Manager says it is there, coverted to an .mp4 format. I tried SeaByrd Tech's Video Converter 1.1 but I still cannot see any videos when I go to the BB Media icon. Is there something else I need to do?

I'm using Blackberry Desktop Manager v4.3.0.17 (Nov 12 2007) and the Roxio Media Manager that came with it. My Blackberry Pearl 8130 has OS v4.3.0.66 (Platform 3.1.0.35). I'm on Bell Mobility. I have no problems using Roxio MM to transfer .mp3 files and photos. The Media Card Options has Media Card Support ON, Encryption Mode NONE, Mass Storage Mode Support ON and Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected YES. The free space on the Media Card is 1.2 GB out of 1.8 GB total.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Unplug your BB from the USB device, and look at the Media icon again.

If still nothing, remove the battery from the BB, replace and reboot, and check again.

Good luck, and welcome to the BBF.

this happened to me, it seemed to fix itself when I moved anything existing from the blackberry device onto the media card. Then I could put stuff on both. until I did that, for some reason the BB didn't seem to know the card was there.

Default "No Videos": Solved.

This issue is now fixed. A battery pull did it. A big thank you to all that replied.

I can't figure out how to use Roxio and it's really frustrating! I want to be able to show my BB off!

Default video

I have a card, but have not loaded it and tried the video function yet. When I do I will remember these suggestions!
