I have an imported Pearl. I am on the Vodafone network in New Zealand and the phone is AT&T. I know I need to deregister it with AT&T to use the email, at least thats what I think I need to do so that I can register it with Vodafone NZ.
But my 1st issue is that when ever I select a number from the address book it says its dialing, but it never connects. If I type the same number in manually it connects. Any Ideas???

Ok I have narrowed the problem down. The phone won't connect to other cell phones in the address book or from the sims contact list, but will if typed in manually as stated in my previous post.
However it will connect to landlines in the addressbook and off the sim.
ideas anyone?

Set the Smart Dialing on the BlackBerry at Phone dial screen, Menu, Options, Smart Dialing.
