I am having second thoughts about the 2600, how much longer does the 1250 add to the battery if the phone is just idle?

I ordered a 2600 mAh battery from Expansys recently. It was on back order so it took about 3 weeks to arrive, but I looked elsewhere I couldn't find any other UK sellers.

I previously had the 1900 mAh battery and so far the 2600 mAh is great. Of course you can get the 2400 mAh for a few less £ for only marginally less charge, but I wanted the highest available (and paid for it!).

I'm no electronics expert, but milliAmp-hours indicates the current delivered per hour, so you may see uniform improvement in time, assuming identical technology is used.

Eg./ 1250 mAh / 900 mAh => 38% improvement in life

1900 mAh / 900 mAh => 110% improvement in life

2400 mAh / 900 mAh => 167% improvement in life

2600 mAh / 900 mAh => 189% improvement in life

Note. That is making assumptions about battery technology and linear discharge. YMMV.

I too have been considering an extended battery. In 12 hours, of minimal use and in STANDBY mode, almost 50% of the battery life is gone, that SUCKS !

The 1250 mAh battery is only marginally better as far as I'm concerned. I certainly don't want to make my Pearl any thicker with the 2400/2600 mhA battery either

I received my 2600 mAh battery last week and so far it's working great. I powered it on at 6.30am Monday morning and it's now Saturday 10.40am and the battery is still on 20%. That is with light-moderate email/web use and light phone use.
