Default Add additional Address books - 07-08-2008, 06:23 AM

Hi,

I don't know if this is possible but......My boss has his own personal contacts which sync's no bother, we also have in our public folders a staff contacts and customer contacts. My boss wants both of these added to his handheld but in seperate contact folders.

I can add these additional contacts no bother through the desktop manager but they all appear in the address book. I need a way of seperating them into different contact folders.

Thanks in advance

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 9000 4.6.0.67)

Use categories and then the filter to show only one then the other.

If you go into your address book and hit menu you can apply filters that will only show a particular contact type (personal, business, etc). if you label the contacts with one of these categories (from within the contact edit screen) you will be able to view only which contacts you want.
