My phone decided to randomly, over night, delete my messages and call log. I checked my memory status and it says : 494410 free. I also have a 1G media card, so i don't know why its doing this. Also, it didnt just delete the last few. It deleted EVERYTHING that wasnt' saved in the last two months, including messages I got just yesterday! Please help!

Kate,

You are TOO low on memory. You need to keep it above 8mb to 10mb to ensure you don't loose anything. I would try to get it over 12mb (thats 12,000,000) You have less that half a MB left.

Follow the thread on how to free it up and once you do losing stuff will be a thing of the past.

Good Luck!

And it doesn't install the apps on the card, it just installs the files to your device memory as you need them--from the media card, if I recall correctly.

You are correct. It is a temp install as needed.
