Aha! Well, that worked great, at least for my internet email. I guess for the enterprise account HTML has to be enabled by the administrator somehow?

Thanks for the tip.

I believe so. I am on BES only and can't get HTML e-mail to work. I don't even get an option to turn it on.

Thank you again. Now I have to decide if I have the nerve to do the upgrade before AT&T puts it out officially.

Your BES would need to be upgraded to SP6 for that. See the BES admin's section here.

Got it. I'm not the admin -- we'll have to wait to see what my company is up to for that.

Any helpful hints on why media streaming might not be working? The player opens when I click a file (such as at m.youtube.com), but it never plays -- just hangs.

PocketMac. I'm not a Mac user and can't remember if it supports adding apps. You can't upgrade an OS with it, though. Better find a friend with a PC.

Limitations of the Mac and BB. You need a PC or a Windows environment on your Mac like Boot Camp or parallels, etc.

Problems I found with this OS. Obviously the Camera lighting is messed up. Also the LED indicator stays on when you get a message or something and doesn't go off. Themes that use to work on 4.2OS dont work for this OS (you get the original zen screen when you hit the BB Button in a 3rd party zen theme). Other than that all seems well. Oh yeah and not to mention this OS is a memory hog. I went from 21MB's free in 4.2OS to under 15MB's in this OS (even with modifying and deleting files).

Yes, old themes do not work and neither does Color Pearl or Softreset.

The "loss" of 6 mb of memory is likley due to the added functionality in 4.5. Docs to Go adds about 2 mb, the spell checker at least 1 meg, there is added encryption support (S/MIME), the browser is up to 2 mb (not sure it was this high in 4.2) and other more robust (and therefore larger) apps in this version.

I went through and removed all the apps I really didn't need and also did not add the "missing" media files. They are 2 mb and I really didn't need some fancy wall paper or added folder icons!!

I don't use Opera Mini as the bulit in browsers seems to work better in this version.

I have 3 map apps (which I really don't need) that in my case would free up about 4 mb, but I'll live with that for now.

In other words, you need to make some decisions about what is a "nice to have" versus what is a "must have".

Hope that helps.

Wirelessly posted (BB 11020)

Remove ColorPearl and the led problem is fixed.

Don't have colorpearl installed on my BB. Only thing I have for trackball color change is PearlCast (have a interesting outcome with that on my BB with 4.5OS).
