I remember seeing a screenshot somewhere of desktop manager, and there was a list of options/apps that you could check/unheck...things such as "attachment viewer". I'm pretty sure the screen shot was in a "freeing memory" walk-through on crackberry.
How do I access this options dialog? For some reason I'm unable to view attachments and I think it's that option being turned off. I also want to turn off some other things I may not need.
You need to connect your BB and then load DM. Then go into app loader and then to add remove applications. When it is done it will present you with a list of installed and not installed apps and modules.
Select and deselect the apps you want or don't want. When you press next it will install or uninstall your choices.

I don't think I do...all I did was download and install desktop manager(minus media manager), since my disc version was older. I think I have v4.3 installed.
I'm downloading the most recent OS in the sticky section. I didn't download it before because of a stupid error on my behalf...
My BB app version is 4.3.0.81 and the most recent OS app version is 4.3.0.127...I was using normal math rules, thinking my app version was newer...comparing the .81 to .127, which was incorrect. Silly me.
