when i try to connect to desktop mang. it wont connect unless i hold the usb cord hard into the phone. any trick someone know about

That sounds like a damaged USB port on either the device or the PC (guessing device.) Go to your carrier and get a warranty replacement before you are unable to back up/switch devices.

CS might send you to a store they might not. Either way you have to call to have one warranty replaced. The 8100 is a device up to 3 and a half years old. If its over 1 year they wont do anything for you. Under a year you are entitled to a replacement as long as its covered under the warranty.

My Pearl is doing the same thing. Fortunately, I just wiggle the connection and the usb chord eventually connects after a few tries.
