Default Upgrade or Not

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,

Just found out from my carrier that I have an upgrade credit available which basically means that I could upgrade from a pearl 8130 to a curve 8330 for free

What does anyone think is it a good move or not

I originally loved "as small as you could get" cell phones but with the functionality of BB im willing to move on size for a bigger screen and whatnot

Also what about memory tweaks.... I have my pearl OS installed on my computer and a bunch of the files moved to free up memory... would I have to uninstall the OS on my computer and install the curve OS and follow the same instructions moving the files to free up memory OR is the memory leak issue a big deal on a curve?

The memory leak is an issue with any BB device, now, basically since OS 4.2 was introduced. So yes, to all your questions.

I vote for "yes" as well.

The only thing you're giving up is the size.

I look at going from SureType to Qwerty the same as going from manual to automatic transmission in a care.

If you learn to drive on a stick shift, it's easy to go to a car with an automatic transmission, much harder the other way around.

Going from SureType to Qwerty, you shouldn't have much of a problem.
