Default Re-Enable stereo jack (wired) from media player on 8130

Hey all,

I just started to use the media player function now that the BB iTunes media sync is out. Except for one thing, it's been VERY painless.

I've had a problem occur where the headset jack gets "disabled" (not sure what causes it) - I can hear audio on videos but when I try to listen to music (mp3) in the media player, the headset doesn't work - I can hear playing video, and if I open the menu I can hear it via ->Activate handset/speakerphone - BUT I can't hear the headphones. The only way I have been able to fix this is to do a battery pull.

I've searched and don't know if anyone has a similar problem?

On another note: once I "activate" the handset or speakerphone, how do I disable (it hasn't given me that option when I was trying to figure out the headset issue).

From my reading of problems the BP (Battery Pull) seems to be the generic cure all, but I'm hoping it's not a frequent thing with BB - others may have experienced different, but I rarely ever had to do hard resets on my Treo, unless I was using alot of 3rd party apps (which is where I came from) - so this would be annoying if it's not at least as stable as a Treo. Which is why with the BB I'm hesitant to use alot of 3rd party apps that I haven't read about on forums like this to determine their stability (and why I'm using the "standard" media player).

Thanks!
