Default dialing/number entry

The last two days I have had dialing/number entry issues. I can't dial a new number to place a call nor can I edit a contact's number in my address book. after a few minutes i can then use the number pad but something seems wrong. yesterday i took the battery out and it hasn't happened again yet but has anyone else had this problem?

That's an odd one I haven't seen mentioned yet. But good to hear that the battery pull fixed it.
