Is there a way to set the Pearl 8100 to reflect the time an EMAIL or SMS is SENT rather than when it is received?

When my 8100 has been "OFF", emails and texts will start flooding in when I turn the phone ON. However, I have no way of knowing when the messages were sent. All incoming messages just reflect the time the phone was turned ON.

Texted a friend's MOTOROLA RZR and it shows the time the SMS is sent, rather than when the phone was turned ON.

The body of the email, SMS or MMS message should give you those details. Otherwise no there is no way to change/fix this.
