Over the past few weeks, I've noticed some calls that I missed only find that my profile is set to "silent". I always keep my profile on "loud" and use an Otter Box case and holster when it's in my pocket. For some unknown reason, my profile just reverts to "silent" and I haven't a clue why. Any ideas?

i haven't heard of that case, but it might have magnets that activate the "in holster" part of you ring profile. when the magnets come in contact with the copper-ish metal pieces on the back of your phone, this profile activates.

to fix this go to profiles ---> advanced ---> edit ---> phone...
the first part of the page should say "out of holster" and have your settings. then there is a separation and after it, it says "in holster" change those settings to the same ones listed above. i bet that part is set to silent.

That wasn't it, but I did notice I had "Use Profile Except For Important Calls" checked. Not sure why... or what exactly an "important call" is, but I unchecked it. We shall see.

I have not had much luck with the holster it always acts funny for me... personally i just threw a protective clear plastic adhesive over the screen and i was set.

I did that as well when I first got the Pearl but my work conditions call for quite a bit of device protection. Hence, the Otter Box.
