Question the HOURGLASS curse

Please Login to Remove!

I find I get the hourglass coming up frequently on my phone. My understanding is this means the memory is significantly occupied. I have tried to close all closeable apps. and this seems to help. BUT it still seems to come up often , and delay my doing what i need to do on the device. I do have a program called epocrates on the phone, which I believe takes a good chunk of memory. I will delete this and see if this helps. Are there any other suggestions to stop the hourglass from coming up so frequently. It is quite a frustrating issue as it occurs to often.
THANKS FOR TIPS, im kind of frustrated with this phone and contemplating straying to the dark side (an iphone).

Look in Options >Status to see your "file free." Post the number here for us.

That application does use a lot of memory and the 8130 doesn't come with much free memory out of the box. Check your file free and then do my memory optimization post below in my sig.
