Default T-Mobile Internet= Fun? - 08-04-2008, 11:33 AM

Hi, I got my bb yesterday but yet i have no web access yet but i am thinking about it but i would like to know few things before i buy it.

I see There is Maps on BB. Will that works as well after i buy unlimited internet access?

What about GPS?

What are other things i can use the internet for on bb?

If your a t-mobile Customer, Can i only visit the sites told by t-mobile or i can just go to my website as well if it works on wap?

Can i listen to music live? like on this site.

Let me know. Thanks guys! :D

These FAQs were written by humans, not a bot. Please read them.

Tmo offers the BB Data Plan, from which you will need for your full internet use.

You can set your TCP settings also for additional third party app internet data. If no plan on TMo, you may/could be charged additional per KB use for this.

There are lesser Tmo plans that will work for internet only, no email.

The human-written FAQs I linked explain these matters.

Please research.

Wirelessly posted (All the cool kids are doing it)

You subscribe to a data plan not buy one, it is a monthly thing. You will have full access to webpages as long as they will be displayed on the phone. Those links explain a lot already and they are written by human beings

Darn you JS posting while I was typing! Lol

SOMEONE SHOULD DIRECTLY ANSWER TO THE QUESTION I ASKED ON TOP POST INSTEAD OF MAKING IT TOO COMPLICATED.

Thanks

You have to subscribe to the Blackberry data plan on your plan and you will be able to use BB maps, as well as surf to regular webpages of your choice not what T-Mobile tells you to. As long as the page is able to be displayed on a mobile device. You can't use the regular T-Mobile Internet that they use for other smartphones

As far as streaming depending on your OS you should be able to I believe.

Is that enough for you or is that still to vague that you can't just click on the links that were provided?

Oh and GPS won't work cause the T-Mobile 8100 or 8120 doesn't have GPS on it
