Default adding a folder to applications menu

Please Login to Remove!

I know on the 8300 Curve, you can add a folder and place certain icons in that folder. I'm looking to do this on my 8100 Pearl...is it possible?

Thanks!

Yeah, you can. I just added a games folder for the games i downloaded. What I do is press the menu key to show the menu, and then press the menu key again and then press Add Folder.

That's the "Menu Key" and the "dots" is the BlackBerry logo.

The "dots" button is commonly referred to as the menu key

annnnyway - I have v. 4.2.1.96

Menu Key, and then Menu Key (dots key) again doesn't show an "add folder" selection.

Should I upgrade to 4.5? Which carrier is using that OS? is it good? Also -- I know its a lot of questions, but does the 4.5 OS allow for zooming in the browser? that'd be cool....

Thanks

Yes, if you want to add a folder you will need tp upgrade to 4.5 and John posted the link to the OS for you. the browser does allow zooming, and 4.5 supports HTML email.

just did the update...went in smooth. a few questions.

Will the lagging go away? I think i deleted all the extra languages.
Also, you said zooming within the browser is a function -- I can't find it?
its referring to the browser as "Media NET" now, instead of Browser...any reason for that?

Had this issue with the browser too, a battery pull fixed it for me.
