So I want to buy and 8120 from ebay, but what I would like to know is what exactly can I do with the 8120 on an AT&T prepaid account? Can I use the internet,use Wifi..wut can I do?

well thanks for finding a link to help Myk, but I was wondering what I could do with a pay-as-you-go plan on the 8120. The one where you just refill your minutes as you go not the Pick Your Plan. I just want to know if I can use the internet or the Wifi with the prepaid acoount without getting a data plan because I dont want a recurring bill. Thanks to all in advance!

I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure you should be able to use wifi even with the prepaid plan. I mean the wifi feature is pretty much independent of a data plan.

I also think that I should be able to use Wifi..just wasnt sure. Now do you know if I would be able to get into AT&T'S MEDIA MALL where you buy ringtones and wallpapers? Thanks Trimix for taking time to help me. I would call AT&T, but it seems they make everything impossible! Thanks again

Unfortunately I have Tmobile so I'm not quite sure how AT&T's media mall works out. Tmobile has an equivalent called T-zones which lets you buy ringtons, wallpapers, etc. For that you don't need wifi or an internet plan to do. Since you bought your phone unlocked off ebay, I dont know if it was previously an AT&T that simply got unlocked, or another company's phone that got unlocked. If the latter case, then it might be harder to get to Media Mall. For t-zones, they have a built-in program to access it in my case.
