Default Problem reading emails - 08-21-2008, 11:26 AM

I apologize if this has been posted before, but I searched and could not find anything.

My Problem:
When receiving emails on my blackberry through one of my email accounts, I am only able to see who the email is from and the subject. There is always an attachment which the blackberry cannot download, and the area where the body of the message usually is always contains the text: "application: multipart/unknown".

This happens with EVERY email sent to this one account. My other two accounts work perfectly. I canceled my BIS for the summer since I was out of the country, but reactivated it when I returned. This is when the problem started. I have also upgraded the OS to 4.5, but I downgraded when I was not satisfied since many applications I rely on did not function correctly.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Phone: Blackberry 8100
Provider: T-Mobile USA
Service: BIS
OS: 4.2.1.107

Wirelessly posted

Hi

Have you tried :-

1. Battery pull?

2. Resending your service books?

3. Deleting then re adding your email account?

Which email is the one that doesn't work? I'm guessing it's not the standard Yahoo or Gmail.

It was an email account from my university. I dried deleting and re-adding (which I should have done in the first place), and it seems to have worked.
