Default Cant record Video on 8110 - 08-26-2008, 09:42 PM

Hi,
I have searched and cant really find anything that addresses this issue.
Got my 8110 today and I dont have the option to record video.
I go into the camera and can only take pictures. I do have a 1gb microsd card installed. Is there something I am missing?
I (maybe foolishly) installed 4.5.0.55 when I got it this aft. I had not tried recording yet so I dont know if it worked before.

I would appreciate a nudge in the right direction

Thanks

Start by pulling the battery and trying again. Is the media card being recognized? Options > Media Card

Battery has been pulled.
It recognized my media card (took it from my 8100 and all my pics are still there)
Still no joy..

try this

Media > Videos > All Videos

does it say Video Camera at the top of the screen? If yes, click on it and see if the camera starts.

Hit the "Menu" button when you are in the normal picture taking camera mode. Do you see a "Video Camera" option?

tried
Media > videos > all videos
Results: *No Videos*
I am going to try the SD card that came with it when i get to work tomorrow.
I cant see that being the problem.. but it is worth a shot.

No IT policies blocking it.
Only use password policies .. other 8110s dont have the problem.
I am thinking something went south when I did the updgrade to 4.5.0.55....

Ok I just did some tests on my 8120.

When you upgraded did you remove any COD files from the Java Folder?

Dont think so.
I did however just copy my old blackberry.alx file over the new one.
Think that would do it?
My old one was for an 8100 (no video)
