Default 8100 Sound - 08-27-2008, 07:50 PM

In my opinion, no sound+vibration sucks big big time. But anyways still in the just sound mode I find my Blackberry 8100 sound very lame, at the point that I cannot hear it if I'm in a mid-crowded restaurant. Any software to turn up the volume or something like that?

PS. Yes my phone is in loud mode with "high" set.

Sometimes it's just the ringtones themselves.
I have some that I never ever ever hear... and others that I'll hear no matter what.

I tend to make my own ringtones, so I can set them as loud or quiet as I want from the beginning. My dad ended up having to do the same thing because he thought all the regular blackberry stock rings were way too quiet.

Any program I can use to, for example, make a song louder?

To make my ringtones, I use Wavepad.
There are a ton of different ones you can use though.. google is great lol.

Every program is a little different as far as amplifying volume goes. Some don't have an option for it at all.. just a matter of finding a program lol

If I remember right, there are some ringtones also somewhere around these forums that are loud. I can't remember where or a link right now.. but try searching and see if you like any of them?
(or someone else come post a link.. haha!)

I had a Palm Treo 650 with the Volume Care program. It was so loud it blew my headset's left speaker. The volume of the ring tone was VERY LOUD. The volume issue is the only issue, comparatively, that I have with my 8100
