Sometime tonight my phone stopped working. Everything else is fine. I'm posting this from the Pearl.

I've restarted, pulled the battery, re-registered on the network, turned connection off and on, did a star 228, and no go. Every call fails except star228. Star611 fails.

I get a "Call failed, please try again" message.

Equipment failure, or? Any ideas?

Well I called VZW this morning and they are sending me a new Pearl under warranty, no charge.

VZW confirmed there were no likely network issues on their end, and my son and his friend were with me at the time and they (both verizon) weren't having any problems making/receiving calls.

I've been having call issues for a off and on for few weeks now (wife on her Pearl gets strong signal, no issues, I have low or now signal, problems making calls), so I'm glad to have a new BB on the way.
