Default How to add another incoming number to an existing contact

Please Login to Remove!

Friends,

I have 8100 pearl and use BES given by company.

I received a call which is now in call-log.

How do I add this number to an existing contact? The existing contact is having a mobile number already in the address-book. The incoming call is the work-number. I wish to add this number directly to the address book.

Is it possible to do it directly without manually typing the number again.

Please help

Thanks

Jay

If you already have an address book entry for this person you only have two options manually enter it or copy and paste.

And welcome!

troydbrown,

Thanks for your kind welcome.

I am surprised that there is no direct / automatic facility for this. Strange! Thanks for your clarification.

If I use the Desktop Manager to sync the address-book, is it possible to type this in Desktop-contacts for direct updation in my blackberry. I think it will be easier to type in Desktop-manager program rather than in the machine directly. Kindly help.

Thanks

Jay

ezrunner,

Thanks for this tip. Well appreciated.

Perhaps this will look much easier when I try and actually do it.

I will follow this method.

Thanks

Jay
