Default 4.5 pretty slow. normal?

Please Login to Remove!

i installed 4.5 as per the instructions, got the white screen with 2/3 small icons (although no 507), reopened DM and reinstalled.

after some friggin around and a battery pull it's working again but it's pretty slow compared to before with 4.2.1

is this normal?

Wirelessly posted (8130)

Shouldn't be.

Do you have any 3rd party apps running? Any non 4.5 themes? How much free memory do you have?

Have you tried to reformat your media card. All of these can cause performance issues.

The device is always slow after first install or after making changes to the media card. It has to scan the card and slows down while this is occuring. Once it's done it should be better. Check the stickies in the Media forum for how to reformat the media card.
