Default Media Problems 8110 - 10-12-2008, 12:40 PM

I am having an issue with my media player. I am trying to play mp3's but it keeps telling me unable to play content. I tried the soft reboot and when the device reloads I get a "uncaught exception: a browser content provider for audio/mid MIME type has already been registered with the browser" message.

Can anyone help I am pretty new to this device?

Thanks

Well I found the problem for mine. I loaded Eoffice and all the programs that came with it and that is why my media player wouldnt play the files. The Eoffice took control of the files. I just deleted the Eoffice but now I can not open a pdf file.

rich196-
Glad I saw your post. I had the same problem, but on my VZW Curve.
I removed e-office & all was well. Thanks for sharing!

....was on the phone with VZW support when I found your answer. Suggested they add this to their technotes!
