I just picked up my replacement 8130. My last one had problems with the track ball and I received a new one under warranty. I backed up all the data from the old one with the desktop manager. I restored the info into my new 8130 and now the address book is empty and there is now browser showing.

Is there anything I can do to resolve this?

Go to your backup and click advanced and move the address book over from your PC to the device.
As far as the browser, resend your service books

I tried transferring. The address book is empty but says there are 44 entries.

Oops. I didn't realize that the search filter was on a category that I didn't yet add contacts to. All of my contacts are there.
