Default 8100 & Rtsp!!!!

Please Login to Remove!

Either I am the dumbest person in the world or RTSP was added to one of the recent 4.5 OS's for the 8100. Does anyone know how long we have been able to use RTSP on the 8100 pearl?

RTSP = Real Time Streaming Protocol

Basically it allows you to view streaming videos on your mobile (you tube, IP\Network cameras, etc)

Ah....I'm not up on my acronyms.

Don't know the answer to your question, though.

I can actually view youtube videos via http:\\m.youtube.com now, but the best part is I can now see my home security camera on the go. I have tried this so many times in the past 6 months from my 8100 each time it would not stream the video (not a firewall\routing issue). Looks like I will not be going to the G1 down the road afterall!

I think that was introduced with 4.5, yup. I haven't tried it yet, does it actually work well in EDGE?
