Don't use the setup wizard.

There should be a "Manage Internet Email" icon if you have a data plan.

Once in there, just enter your email address to setup. Then leave the password field blank. That will prompt you for the proper settings.

Do you have an icon on your device called "Personal Email Setup"?
Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan?

You need a BlackBerry Data Plan. Call ATT and have it added. Then you will be able to setup your email.

I don't understand your answer.
Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan, or just a regular data plan?

I have a iPhone data plan on a pre-paid sim. Will I not be able to ever get e-mail over IMAP without a BB plan on my account?

You MUST have a BB data plan in order to get ANY push email on a BlackBerry.

No, very little will work on the BlackBerry without a BB data plan. If you have GMail, you might be able to get the GMail app to work.
