Hello, I currently have a BB Pearl 8110 coupled with a Vista laptop. I just got a video from a friend via bluetooth today and I was wondering how i could get it off the Pearl and onto my computer.

I believe the meaning is that you must have software on your laptop/PC that can read the 3GP format. Or else software that can convert to AVI/MPEG, etc.

As far as getting the video off the Pearl, perhaps Roxio Media Manager?

Do you have a microSD card on your phone??
If you have one, did you stored the video on the microSD card or in the internal memory of the phone??
If you used your microSD card, you just need to plug your phone to the computer and use it like a mass storage device, and if its in the internal memory you need the blackberry desktop software with the media version.

First, plug the BB into a USB port on your notebook. Vista should see it as a removeable drive (assuming you have an SD card). If so, use Windows Explorer (or MyComputer) to simply find and copy the file.

If your notebook doesn't see the BB as a drive, get the free BB Desktop software and install it. Start the Desktop software and choose "Media Manager". You'll then be able to copy files to/from your BB and notebook.

Hello. I have a question related to this post. Sorry for bumping a very old post but I can't make new posts yet. I have the 8120 and I have a macbook. I seem to have a problem playing the 3gp videos saved on my bb on my macbook. quicktime can't seem to play it and that it says it contains invalid data. I've tried playing directly off the sd card and i've tried saving the files directly on my macbook. what could the problem be?

thank you.
