is there eny way I could use a stereobluetooth on the 8100
I got att blackberry pearl 8100 os 4.2
and jabra bt8010 bluetooth stereo headset
that is a software issue, i think after version 4.3 you get the a2dp (stereo bluetooth support).
I own a 8100 with software version 126.96.36.199, and i use a samsung stereo bluetooth headset and it works great.
I think you just need to upgrade the software.
Take a look at this thread for software upgrade and more:
can I upgrade with out unlucking the phone and will I loose my att stuf,
o the link wont work
yes you can do it, but you have to follow and understand the instructions on the tread, and take care about the .cod´s you removed from the software (5. Remove unwanted .cod's from the java folder...)
First it could be kind a difficult but if you follow the instructions and also look for some extra info on the faq´s it would be fine.
thank know my jabra bt8010 stereo headset works
video sound over S9-HD
fiestito, can you tell me if you can get sound over the wireless blue tooth from the blackberry video player?
I just bought the MotoRokr S9-HD to use with my 8100. I have OS 188.8.131.52.
I had hear the music great!, but when I went to play a video, I could not hear any sound. I did try and click on the menu button and tried the activate handset, but that only put the sound to my earbuds.
So do you know of a way to get the sound from video to go over the blue tooth head set?
Thanks for your help.
Mark, the early devices (8100, 8300) can NOT play bluetooth video only music.
Its not a software issue, its a hardware issue.
sorry just music with bluetooth headset :(
Thanks guys, I appreciate the feed back. That's ok, will just have to go corded for video.
stereo bluetooth [for video soundtracks]
Would like to know this too as I'm about to get the storm. And I have the s9's.
