I have a blackberry pearl 8100 Tmobile. I tried to download the upgrade handheld software. I currently have V4.2. Tmobile does not offer the upgrade yet. When I installed the software where you delete the vendors license my phone kept rebooting itself. I am wondering if there is a way to fix this or should I wait until tmobile comes out with their own version?

Try taking out, or reformatting the micro sd card.

I don't even know what that is or how to do it.

the microSD card is an extra memory device for your phone, if you have one its under the battery of your phone, next to the gsm card.
And you can reformat the microSD going to -> options -> Media Card, then press the menu key and select "format the card".
