Alternative to Media Manager I have a BlackBerry Pearl 8100. I do NOT have a memory card. I want to access the files on the DEVICES MEMORY. Is it possible to have Mass Storage enabled for the DEVICE MEMORY or do I HAVE TO use Roxio Media Manager? |
if you want to play with the internal memory you must have the desktop software with the media manager (Roxio Media Manager). |
Go to Media, Menu, Explore and it should bring up your device memory to look around. I suggest a media card to store all your add on media stuff. Try and keep the device memory a clean as possible for best operations. |
I wanted to be able to copy the files in the internal memory to my Desktop. I have AT&T with "family unlimited text, picture, and video messaging", but apparently BlackBerry's need a separate data plan, so I can not send or receive pictures. If Media Manager is required, then it is required. Thank you. |

AT&T has discontinued the 8100 and only offers 4.2. I read that the latest version (for the 8110 and 8120) offer some non data plan MMS sending. The latest version for the 8110 and 8120 on the AT&T website is 4.5.0.152. Is there a way I can get this for the 8100? |
