i have a pearl from sprint. how do i know if it is cdma???

All Sprint Blackberry devices are CDMA.

If you go to Options > About it should say CDMA there, for further confirmation.

Why do you want to know if it's cdma?

Just FYI:
Sprint and Verizon (now including Alltel) both use CDMA. Therefore all of their phones are CDMA phones.
All other companies use GSM. Therefore all of their phones are GSM.
