SMS messages deleting, sounds like you're out of memory:

why do people always post here as a last resort of complaining?

Just like any other phone ever BBs have a certain amount of memory and when you let it get filled up with browser cache, sms messages, phone logs, and mms media it starts deleting things so it can function.

I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't get into the programs because of it.

Clean out your memory: Delete unneeded emails, sms, mms, and all phone logs. Then go into your browser and clear the cache.
THEN move all media (pics, songs, ringtones) to a MicroSD card.

Then pull out the battery while the phone is still on and let it reset.
