Default New BB 8100 - transfer info?

BB 8100 Pearl

I got a new 8100 through T-Mobile warranty. How can I backup/transfer all my contacts, email settings, messages, ect.??

Welcome to the forums!

If you still have your old device, cable it to your PC and use the Back up/Restore option on your Desktop Manager. You can then cable your new 8100 and restore the data using the same option.

I am trying to connect with DM but it keeps saying it is disconnected. Any ideas?

Forget that... I tried a different cable and it worked right away. Not sure why but at least it worked so far.
