Unhappy How can I get contacts and unread SMS from my Pearl with only the trackball?

Please Login to Remove!

My Pearl has been damaged whilst snowboarding and now I have a problem.

Only the trackball works to scroll not click and none of the keys work. So my question is how can I access the address book and unread SMS in this state?

I have tried to dry out the device incase of possible water damage but have had no luck. The only way to turn it on and off is pulling the battery out.

If its totalled and I need a new one its not a problem, just need my address book.

If I need software and a data cable to get the information off the phone I'm a Mac user and don't easily have access to a PC.

Thanks in advance.

P.s.
It may take me a while to reply to this thread as I now have to check my emails like a regular person.

Wirelessly posted (hope is everything!)

Missing sync may be your only optin if you can't readily get to a pc

Thanks ezrunner,
Missing Sync worked a treat. It didn't need any handset buttons pressing to get the phone to sync with Address Book on my Mac.

And I've already got a new Pearl lined up.
Good times!
