Default Google Maps downloaded, but I can't launch it!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all, I just bought a used Backberry Pearl 8100. I downloaded google maps and I got a message when I tried to launch it. Stupidly, I didn't really read what it said.

Now the icon is gone. I see Google Maps in the application list but I can't get it to run. I am a totally new BB user, so please be kind if there is a simple step for this!

Also, I don't want to redownload it. Cingular charges a cent a kb and the download was 680kb or so. If needed, is there anyway I can redownload the app on my PC and use the Desktop Manager to upload the app to my phone? Thanks!!!

Did you know that you will need GPS and a BB data plan to use GoogleMaps? The 8100 doesn't have GPS. The 8110 and 8130 do. And you need a BB unlimited data plan to use it as maps only download as you need them and cannot be stored on the device or SD card.
