Hello. I'm sure this has been posted somewhere. I've tried searching for this error on the boards but I can't seem to find anything closely related to it. I found JUM error 552 but it's not the same.
Anyway, I've been experiencing some problems with my 8120. On a daily basis I get a white screen that simply says "app error 552 reset". The unit is able to reset just fine after 2 minutes. What's puzzling about this is that it seems to do this between the hours of 1am and 7am Eastern time. On occasion, I would get the error during day time but it's only happened twice. I never had this problem before. I haven't updated anything on my phone. I've even tried leaving the memory card out to see if that caused the problem.
One thing you can try first, move all of your media (ringtones, music, video, pics) to the Media Card. Clear the Cache on your browsers, adjust the memory reserved for pics. That might fix it, but I doubt it will.
well dude i have a solution for you i think is gonna work because i just did it with my curve 8900 the thing was that i downloaded some apps. then i turned it off but when i turned it on the screen was withe an it said--reload software 552- i tryed everything but stil like that ,so accidentaly i update my framework 2.0 to 4.5 and it worked perfectly because when i tryed to reload my O.S. i download it from my carrier (t-mobile) so i tryed once more and bingo!!!! it worked so if you guys have that issu it can be a good way to solve it ,hope this to help someone.......'till next.
