Default At my Wits End!!!!!

When I first got my BB Pearl 8130, everything was working fine with my browser, even after I upgraded to OS 4.5. But for about the last week and a half, when I go to the menu while in the browser, i.e. Option>Browser Configuration>... in order to try and change the browser homepage or the browser emulation mode, I can push the trackball to select either option, and it will not let me. The only emulation that it offers is Blackberry, and the only homepage it will give me is the BB Help page. It will not allow me to change either one. The small menu at the bottom appears giving me the options to save or show full menu. Not long ago, it was easy to set my homepage to something different than the Blackberry help page, but for some reason, now it will not let me. PLEASE, this is driving me nuts, if someone knows what caused this, or how to fix it, I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks in advance for your help on this matter.

I am thinking you need the Service Books resent, which is available on your BIS account. But I dunno how to do it. I am a BES user and just tell the server to resend service books. Doesn't sound like the Service Book for anything but the Blackberry Browser is on your phone.
