Default 8130 - Update to 4.5 has gone wrong... Help Please!

I launched the update to 4.5 using the Blackberry Desktop Manager (newest version on Windows 7) about a two and a half hours ago on my Pearl 8130. Now it appears to be stuck here for the past two hours or so, saying Load JVM and system software.

I had an image to post but I'm not allowed to, but the progress bar is only fractionally full and hasn't moved since.

Is this normal? The program hasn't crashed or anything, and the phone itself is just a black screen, no indication of life or anything from it. I'm really worried, I love my phone.
