Default Bedside Mode for 8130 app?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Curve and when I plug it in to charge it has the option to enter bedside mode automatically. It shows a big clock and has easy access to the alarm.

I am getting a Pearl (I am keeping the Curve for work) tomorrow (8130) and on my old Pearl this was not an option, and I am assuming this is still true. I am also getting the desktop cradle. I am thinking that the combination of "bedside mode" on the Pearl and the cradle would make a pretty easy setup and I can ditch the big clunky alarm clock I have now.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Bedside mode is in OS 4.6 and higher. The most recent OS for the 81xx series is 4.5. It's rumored that 5.0 will be the next OS release for it. Until then, no bedside mode.
