I've run into the same problem. I upgraded from 4.2 to this new version. I went to blackberry.com/aim to try and re download it. However it tells me my device isn't supported. Any ideas how to make it work. I'm on tmo if that helps any.

what version where you using before? notice that some software which works on 4.2.2 or any version lower then 4.5 needs to be redownloaded since it wont be compatible anymore with 4.5
remove and reinstall

I've reinstalled 4.5 twice and my aim still isn't working. I've tried doing the checkmark thing and I've tried to download it from the blackberry website. What am I doing wrong?

Grr I love 4.5 but I am having more issues with it than I've ever had with 4.2.

As far as I know, AIM is not compatible with 4.5 on the Pearl.
This is the reason I bought BeeJive, and it is quite amazing.
