i have a blackberry 8100 pearl that has a blackberry data plan but i cant use it because my edge sign comes in lower case so its not connected.

I called technical support and they confirmed my account was registered and i should be able to get my emails.

After more digging i found out that i have no service book and my Host Routing Table is empty. Im pretty sure i need them to use the data plan.

I already tried registering the HRT by sending that message but i get no response. Even when i go on my service provider (FIDO) blackberry website and send myself the service books i dont receive anything on my phone.

ANY IDEAS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

have you tried your SIM card on another phone? SIM cards do break too.

i tried my sim card on another phone and it works. My blackberry can make/receive calls but it just cant go on the internet or give me my emails.

Interesting, you need your carrier to resend your Service Books.
