I have a 8110 that I tried to update the OS to 4.5. After running through the steps to upgrade, it failed. I didn't write down the error but now I have the black screen of death, and a blinking red light and when I connect it to the computer it connects and disconnects continuously. I spent 3 1/2 hours on the phone with BB tech support with no fix. From a thread back in July, I tried the JL_Cmder to wipe the device, went through the command prompt apploader, and desktop manager apploader. I get through the first part erasing data and loading software, then on the waiting for device to initalize, it connects/disconnects then I get the error "Unable to Reconnect During a Multi-Stage Load Operation." Can anyone help fix this?
