Default blackberry pearl 8100 freezing

Please Login to Remove!

My blackberry pearl 8100 has been freezing lately. i upgraded to 4.5 and i still have the problem but not as often. It freezes and then the letters qweweeew or something with those three letters pop up. Any help much appreciated.

Check your file free. Under options-status. If its low, you may need to do some cleanup

In addition, press alt + escape (back key) and list what applications you have running.

20MB is not low. That should be fine.

What applications do you have running?

That's right and all of those will always show. Make sure the browser is not on an active page (i.e weather page) or a page that constantly refreshes as it will cause issues.

Does it clear up after a battery pull?

pulling the battery works but only for like 30 mins then the same thing happens the qwewewwewe thing. Any other ideas on what i need to do to fix it??

havent dropped it. i think it could be moisture due to sometimes keeping it in the bathroom with me while i shower. how do i know if moisture is affecting it?? arent there like stickers or something?

There are water damage indicators on and under the battery. Having the device in the bathroom while in the shower could definitely cause issues.

the sticker on the battery that i think is the indicator is pink with red x's. Does that mean there is water damage?? what should i do to fix this?
