Default Uncaught exception: java.lang.OutOfMemroyError

Please Login to Remove!

I have almost 8MB of memory available accroding to Status. I get this Uncaught exception everytime I try to use the Browser.

Overall, performance is painfully sluggish. I've removed most of the media and add on applications about a week ago.

When I remove/restore the battery and I can check email. But after checking 4 or 5 emails, the unit locks up again and I get the Uncaught exception message.

From time to time, when I hang up a call, the unit locks up. when I answer a call, the call will progress normally, but the screen will show 'calling' not 'connected'.

The phone shows 3 missed calls, but every call in the log has been acknowledged.

On average, I am removing/restoring my battery about 50 times a day. no joke! Very frustrating.

Welcome to the forums.

8MB is pretty low, but I don't think it should be causing you all of those issues. Here are some steps to help free up some space:

Why is my BlackBerry losing its call logs or message logs? - BlackBerryFAQ

How do I free up memory on my device? - BlackBerryFAQ

Also, what OS are you running? You may want to look into upgrading if the issues persist.
