Default My BB8100 wont turn on!! HELP!!

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone!,

I was updating my BlackBerry to OS version 4.5, I have a BlackBerry Pearl 8100; in the installation when it was on the task labeled "Waiting for initialization" or something alike, it got like stuck for 3 hours and the progress bar didn't move at ALL. I finally decided to unplug the USB cord from my BB and then it wouldn't turn ON!!! I removed the battery, then the SIM card, then the memory chip and NOTHING! It just won't turn on! please help me what should I do!? I tried putting in another BB's battery and it didn't work!.

Thanks!!

You may have to use the jl_cmlder to get your phone back on track. Search the forum for it and you'll also get instructions.

Your phone is still salvageable (at this point).

You don't need to wipe you phone with JL_Cmder. Were you connected via a USB hub. A lot of times the device does not reconnect during initialization due to the USB port not supplying enough power. This can be caused by a USB hub.

Reboot both the device and the PC. Connect the device to a port on the back of the PC and then follow these steps to the letter.
