Default 8130 not connecting to my computer

Please Login to Remove!

i installed all of the software and hooked it up to my usb but for some reason it wont detect it being connected... is there any solution to this.. please help me

Are you connected to a USB HUB? If so connect directly into the PC, preferably to a USB port in the back of the PC if possible.

Did you install Desktop Manager? What version?

What OS is on your PC?

Do you have an 8120 as in your profile or 8130 as in the post?

I have the 8130... XP... and version 4.5.. and it is plugged in the back.. it charges and everything

With the device on, pull the battery for about 30 seconds, reinsert the battery and let it reboot. Then plug in an see if it is recognized.

If not, uninstall DM and install a newer version, i.e. 4.7. 4.5 has been identified as being a bit buggy and hard to use by some.
